Dawn Light

A medieval fantasy JRPG

This project wasn't finished, but I'm proud of my early efforts on it.

I've learned a lot of ways to improve the feeling of different types of scenarios and how to avoid the square creation that is too common on pixel RPG games.

CITIES

My first contact with this game conception and it was an amazing opportunity to learn how to compose medieval environment. It was a fantastic experience.

FORESTS AND ROUTES

This was one of the moments I enjoyed the most. To create transitions between different places of the country was and overview experience I've learned a lot.

BUILDINGS

The most difficulty part was to create places with accordance to their location on the continent without lose the game pillars and core features.

DUNGEONS

Create a dungeon is a dangerous moment for the game pacing and player's frustration curve. To measure when the puzzles are adequate and the time spent inside it is an exercise where the brain burns more.
